The company was founded as the dedicated research and development arm of leading Australian geospatial consultancy NGIS Australia Pty Ltd. For more than a decade, NGIS has built an impressive reputation for excellence, successfully delivering advanced solutions for major clients across Australia and Asia. Its intellectual property was encapsulated in the first generation of a unique web-mapping solution, known as GeoSamba, the development of which was underpinned by an Australian Federal Government innovation grant.

The early success of GeoSamba, and increased market demand for location-aware business systems, resulted in the 2005 launch of iintegrate Systems, an independent company charged with managing the product’s long-term strategic development.
