GeoSamba’s Business Logic Tier enables vast amounts of information to be efficiently accessed, filtered and combined. This information can then be integrated with expert knowledge into workflow and stored in reusable process models. A flexible Tasking Engine assists administrators to rapidly build or update these models using over 40 different functional operators.

• Generating reports with optional map images
• Creating/editing map features or attributes
• Modifying feature geometries
• Relating information by map feature location
• Passing requests to external systems through application bridge (i.e. ERP, CRM, DMS, BI and BPM).

Highly complex tasks can be defined by combining dozens of operators to guide users through difficult processes step-by-step. GeoSamba provides an agile framework for business tasks to be conceived, trialed, updated, tested and deployed without the need for development or system upgrades.

Gateway tier services can connect to most modern databases. This allows database records underlying enterprise software, such as corporate mail, customer relationship systems, document management systems, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence and business process management, to be connected to map features. All web services used by GeoSamba are deployed with the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) as the standard for application-to-application communications.

A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available for web developers familiar with Visual Studio .NET which allows them create web clients from scratch or embed GeoSamba technology into existing web pages.
